The Michael Rizzello sculpture is magnificent. I like that, when it rains, the Thames and dock areas fill with water - wonderfull. Les.

It is terrific, isn't it? It was painted in graffiti some months ago on two separate occasions, but I was glad to see that it was clear of damage this time. Like you, I really like the way that water fills the docks when it rains. Did you know that he also did the James Walker bust that overlooks Greenland Dock? It isn't as fascinating but it does have a type of brooding element to it.

Hi Andie, No, I didn't know that. The bust is in the wrong place, though. Should be at the head (Tesco end), where I think more people could see it.

Yep, I remember the graffiti. I hope it's well bolted down!
